According to the book, Flowers for Princess Fischl, Oz is the King of Ravens who pledged to serve Fischl eternally.įischl is not only able to see through Oz's eyes but can also possess his body and take flight. Ozvaldo von Hrafnavines, Oz for short, is Fischl's companion and occasionally her translator.

So far, no one has outwardly questioned her origins or how she was exiled, not that most would understand her reply any how.
